If you’re reading this maybe you know who I am already.

But if you don’t: I am a New York-born, probably overeducated (yet you’d never know it), far-left-leaning, somewhat nerdy rock-n-roll type. I sing and play guitar in a band that bears my name. I write songs, generally of the sad-bastard/melancholic variety, and my favorite music often has similar tendencies. I am a onetime fiction writer, and hope to rise again in that respect, though I have plenty of other things to do creatively so there never seems to be time for that. When I am being practical as opposed to creative I work as a freelance editor/writer/word surgeon. I am in love with improv comedy and have been studying that at the Upright Citizens Brigade training center. I am something of a movie buff and a foodie. And many other things that you’ll likely only discover by reading this blog. But there’s the short version.
