i am watching this doves documentary/video thing called WHERE WE’RE CALLING FROM while working on some administrative stuff at home. it’s killer. god i love this band, more and more. you all need to watch this.

back to the studio shortly. these new tracks are sounding amazing. got some really cool sounds yesterday.

so it’s been like two months since i’ve posted anything on here. and i have so many links to add and widgets and whatnot. still haven’t quite found the rhythm for working on this blog. but believe it or not i have a bunch of entries in a word doc that need to be posted here. they will come. i also plan to post some annotated versions of old pre-TDoJB diary entries, just for kicks. basically to add content. hey, if you want to write a posting in my voice, i’ll post that, too. you can make stuff up. whatever you want.

but seriously, now, it’s been a little crazy here, hence the not posting. working on a bunch of other things. caught a godawful flu on february 1 that it took a while to get back from. i recovered just in time to get going on preproduction for the recording we are now in the midst of. we did basic tracks at headgear with mr. scott norton on the 16th/17th, spent all day in the studio yesterday, and will spend most of this week in the studio as well. things are sounding great so far. a birthday went by at some point midmonth (the hallmark blowout valentine’s day, actually) and i barely noticed. wasn’t a milestone/big one, so i don’t much care. long as i don’t start looking all old and fugly i am fine with whatever age really.

so anyway, for the most part all is well, just too busy with other stuff to actually post anything here. still looking for that rhythm. seriously, if you want to contribute, let’s talk….
